If you have a business that serves a local area, then you know how important your Google Business Profile is for lead generation and sales.
Reviews are a KEY to doing well here.

We highly recommend that as well as chasing Google Reviews, you chase Facebook Reviews too.

MOST Google Ranking Factors are hard to determine or prove that they exist. Not this one. It’s right there.

Many people struggle to leave Google Reviews as they don’t have a Google account of any kind. By sending a follow up email to clients / customers, that includes Google Review options AND Facebook Review options, you’ll get reviews from people who simply wouldn’t have done this before.
Facebook Reviews will also help your social media reach. This is useful for overall SEO as well. Simply Organic, the business in that image above, rank several Social Media accounts on Page 1 of Google for many search terms.
Adding a link for Facebook Reviews to your follow up email is a 1 minute task, that will never need any more work.
What if Facebook isn’t a thing for your business or your area?
We’ve seen Yelp reviews appear as well. It’s likely that in the future, any platform that is trusted, and provides a review option, will get used in this manner.
Google is just looking for trust factors.
