Also - the entire Google search engine was built a long time ago, and still has founding principles that drive it…. for example… backlinks.
Links TO your site, tells Google that you are good and trustworthy - for the most part.
Yes, everyone has examples of sites with no links doing well, but if you look closely, they are generally ranking well because they have great CONTENT.
Anyway, LINKS and CONTENT - and you’ll win.
