Google has done us all a solid and given us FREE QR codes to help us get more Google Reviews.

Google Reviews (and other reviews like Facebook), are very important, and getting MORE important as we morph into AI search and more trust based research that we do as consumers.
Now that you have your QR code, get busy with it, here are some ideas:
In-Person & Physical Locations
Counter Displays / Reception Desk
Place a small sign or cardholder with the QR code at checkout counters, reception desks, or waiting areas with a message like:
“Happy with our service? Scan here to leave us a Google Review!”
Packaging Inserts
For product-based businesses, include a thank-you card with the QR code inside packaging or shopping bags.
On Receipts or Invoices
Print the QR code on receipts, invoices, or job completion forms with a friendly call-to-action.
Vehicle Signage (for Service Businesses)
Add a “Review Us” QR code sticker on company vehicles (e.g., vans, trucks) for visibility while on-site or driving.
Event Booths / Pop-Ups
Use the QR code on banners, flyers, or stands at trade shows, markets, or local events.
Printed Marketing Materials
Business Cards (Review Request Version)
Create a batch of business cards specifically designed to request reviews with the QR code on the back.
Flyers, Brochures, and Mailers
Add the QR code to any printed materials you hand out or mail, combined with an incentive (e.g., “Leave a review to enter our monthly draw”).
Digital & Email Usage
Email Signatures
Include the QR code (as a small image or linked text) in your email signature with a line like:
“We’d love your feedback—click or scan to leave a review!”
Post-Service Follow-Up Emails or Texts
After completing a job, send a thank-you message with the QR code and a personal touch asking for a quick review.
Social Media Posts & Stories
Share the QR code on Instagram/Facebook stories or posts, especially after showcasing successful projects or happy customers.
Incentivizing (Ethically)
Loyalty Cards / Review Reward Programs
Offer customers a small thank-you (discount on next visit, freebie) for showing proof they left a review — be sure to comply with Google’s review policies (no "review in exchange for reward" but “thank-you gift” after review is allowed).
In-Store Digital Screens or Tablets
On-Site Tablet Kiosk
Set up a tablet at checkout or waiting area, pre-loaded with the review page, or display the QR code on-screen for customers to scan.
Digital Signage
If you have digital displays (TVs/screens) in-store, rotate a slide with a QR code prompting reviews.
BONUS: Staff Incentivized Review Campaigns
Team Challenge
Run an internal challenge for staff where each team member gets credit when their served customers leave a review mentioning their name.
Key Phrasing Examples:
“We value your feedback—scan here to review us on Google.”
“Your 5-star review keeps us going! Scan to share your experience.”
“Happy with our service? Let others know by scanning this QR code.”
You might only need 2-3 of these ideas to work, to help your business do far better at getting found online, and converting those people into actual customers!
