Once you know WHAT you trying to rank or WIN on Google, get into these 7 easy tasks.

1️⃣ Title Tag (meta title for page)
The meta title is a key item that Google checks when deciding who to rank where on Google.
Make sure it’s on point for your business and what you are trying to rank on Google for.
2️⃣ H1 heading (main heading on the page)
Google also looks at the headers on a page, the main header, or H1 header, in particular.
If the page you are trying to rank has your keyword in the Meta Title, and now the H1 header, we are off to a great start!
Only 1 H1 per page please, don’t confuse Google by having multiple H1’s.
3️⃣ First Paragraph of article or page info
Google is more or less reading your article or page and looking for hints up the top.
For our SEO agency, we make sure that the Bullseye Phrase, or most important keyword, is mentioned in the first paragraph of the page or article.
4️⃣ The URL
If you can include your keywords as part of your URL, Google will reward you!
This is hard if the site is existing, but you can create articles and pages with the keyword in the URL.
5️⃣ Headings and Subheadings
Further down the page, you’ll have subheadings.
These should also contain the keyword or phrase you are trying to rank for, OR related phrases that support the main phrase.
In my example above, the article is about Google Reviews.
A GREAT way to check for headings that already exist is to grab the “Mangools FREE SEO extension” (Google it).
6️⃣ Alt text and image name for images
You can add “alt text” to images on your website, and the words you use can have an impact on your SEO.
7️⃣ Body Text
You’ll see here in the review article, the word “review” appears often, but in a natural way, and in the context of the article.

Run Google Ads, even if it’s a really low ad spend each month.
