Social Icons on Google Business Profile

Google Business Profile now lets you manually add social media links / icons.

The icons and links to your social media accounts are probably useful if you want to rank your listing as well as possible.

I say probably because we don’t have sufficient time yet to prove it, but it makes sense.

Here is how you do it:

Head into your profile, go to “contact”, and the drop down appears.

Pretty easy.

{BUT}

Be careful.

We recommend you only add 1 social account per day.

Why?

Google Business Profile has been volatile in 2023, and suspensions are common.

Sometimes, large amounts of change will spark an automatic suspension.

They are easy to fix, but your listing could be down for a while.
