A few good lines that will transform your business
If you get it right...
I think this is a way bigger issue than people think…..
The issue being that lots of people, simply don’t know what you do!
Now, when we start working with someone, getting these few lines right will be one of our very first tasks - simply because we know that it helps people so much in the long run!

So, we’ll sort this out and then start using it in a variety of places as explained soon.

Why are we talking about this?
We find in our work as marketers, that people get the basics wrong, or overlook them, or could simply improve.
How do we know this?
Because we come across people often, who have friends who cannot easily state what that person does, or who their business serves.
If your friends don’t know, this means we need to get it right, so people easily recall what you do.
This is foundational thinking that really needs to be in place before any other marketing or advertising takes place.
Once you have your “few lines” right, you’ll be able to start using it effectively.
This can be used in all sorts of places and will help people “get it”, clearly know what you do, and how to reach you.
You can use this for example in:
Your email signature block
As a LinkedIn or Facebook header image
As a footer to social media posts
As a footer on blog pages
Some notes:
The Bullseye Phrase must be something that you would want to rank on Google for.
Preferably something really obvious, and very easy to understand.
If a 12 year old doesn’t understand your bullseye phrase, or if Grandma doesn’t get it, it's not clear enough or obvious enough.
Likewise with the money statement / transformation.
It should encompass, in ONE LINE, what your business does for a client / customer.
