I don't think it was rude?
Yesterday, someone pitched me about their business.
I read her pitch multiple times, and I just don’t “get it”.
I replied with:
“Can you explain this to me like I’m 10 years old, and if possible in under 10 words please?”
I think that question is useful for all businesses, especially service providers.
For OUR consultancy, the answer would be:
“We help businesses rank higher on Google, to get more customers”
Not quite 10 words, but I think it works.
